More about the sustainability of the Blue Tin Roof

The structure is of passive solar design, ideally positioned to take full advantage of the sun’s energy. This gives us approximately 50% of our heat during the winter.

All of our flooring is comprised of wood, ceramic tile or recycled marble tiles. Other recycled materials include all interior wood doors, cast iron bath tubs, wall boards and beams.

Our furnishings are a combination of antiques and quality reproductions made by friends.
